1. What Are Cookies

2. Cookies We Use
Calamity.live uses only strictly necessary technical cookies. We do not use any profiling, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Third-Party Services
No third-party service on Calamity.live sets cookies. Some parts of the map are loaded by your browser directly from their providers, which see your IP address as any web server does:
- NASA GIBS — the imagery of the globe.
- OpenMapTiles / MapLibre — the fonts of the map labels.
- RainViewer — the precipitation radar, only if you switch that layer on.
4. Managing Cookies
Since we only use strictly necessary technical cookies, no consent mechanism is legally required under the EU ePrivacy Directive (art. 5(3)) and Italian law (art. 122 D.Lgs. 196/2003). However, you can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that disabling localStorage may affect the map preferences and data caching features.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or technologies. If we add analytics or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this page and request your consent before setting them.
