Solar Storms at CME Halo

SOHO LASCO

Right now

The most recent data we hold from SOHO LASCO arrived 22 hours ago, and this point is not in it. We record detections, not passes: an absence is not proof that nothing is there.

Reported by SOHO LASCO 76 days ago.

What the source measured

SOHO LASCO reported: Coronal Mass Ejection detected at 2026-06-30T21:45Z. Linear speed: 1236 km/s. Half-angle: 42°. Full halo CME — potential global geomagnetic impact. Full halo CME currently observed only in GOES CCOR-1 and somewhat blocked by its pylon. Not yet observed in other coronagraphs due to a SOHO LASCO DSN gap between 2026-06-30T20:15Z to 2026-06-30T23:45

How we know

One source: SOHO LASCO. Not yet confirmed by a second, independent source.

Our own score for this event is 15 out of 100.

This is our versioned heuristic index, not source severity or a calibrated probability. Urban PEI does not count unique people.

Computed under scoring rules v1. Rows carrying other versions were judged by different rules and are not directly comparable.

Physical priority index · v1. Heuristic priority, not calibrated probability, predictive accuracy or damage. The legacy data-support index combines assigned source support and field availability. Urban PEI is distance-weighted and does not count unique people; zero does not establish that nobody is present. Model cards.
